Good-
Pendles: Got alot of it, but didnt seem to do much with it tonight.. still a great game.
Leon: By far the best on, just seemed to be a class above everyone tonight.
Swan: Clearly injured, but great work to fight on to still have an influence.
N.brown: Best game of the year. Bet ya his brother being on the other team had something to do with it.
Steele: great disposal of the football, hopefully stays in the side for the next 3-4 weeks.
Wood: By far his best game for the club, hopefully he keeps it up!
Dick: Love his forward pressure, 9 tackles is an excellent return.
Lockyer: Typical lockyer game.
Anthony: great start, didnt see much after that with Glass on him.
The way our rucks, pretty much smashed cox and seaby.

Bad-
-Ben Reid or Chris Dawes should be in the side over Leigh Brown... Honestly very angry with that selection. We might aswell get some games and develop some of our young KP's than play him, surely the selection panel know that this bloke is an absolute spud.. He tries hard but...

Didnt think we played awfully well against terrible opposition on the night. Didak, medhurst and to a lesser extent Thomas, will be big inlusions into our forward line/Midfield.
Go pies:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Wood is the story of the night, that sort of game more often is just what the team needs. Brown, Harry and Maxy great game down back, as was off ball work by Heath and Marty. Leon, Tarks, Wood and Swan were the best IMO. Opposition were poor but the 4 points makes up for one of the dropped games v Crows/Bombers.

We would've also won if we played these teams, judging by tonight's performance:

a) Melbourne

But having said that, we won over at Subi so that's a positive. Just unsure if it really means anything because the standard of play was the worst I've seen for a long time by West Coast and Pies tonight. We're talking junior u16 skills sometimes during some of those passages of play. Lucky we have an easy draw for the next month because we need a few wins to get back on track and gain some momentum and confidence for the second half of the year.

Missed radio broadcast and Foxtel broadcast. Who played on West Coasts McKinley?
Presti , but Mckinley got 2 goals in junk time from absolutely shocking umpiring blunders .

Collingwood up against the wall wins again.

Midfield racked them up, Toovey even looked good.

Pendle, Leon, Swan, Lockyer :thumbsu:

Fraser and Wood chopped Cox as well.

Back in the 8?

Reid had a virus.

Sure it wasn't a sore date from getting rodgered by the selection committee :p

Highlights for me tonight were:
-Leon, made it worth watching just to see him do his stuff. Goals, grabs and possies galore.
- Swanny, got to love the way he goes about it week after week. No fuss, no bother, just there to play footy - and play it bloody well!
- Pendles, just has so much time when he has the footy and makes it look like those around him are in slow motion. He sets us up, and I know its the shyte game plan but the only thing I wish is that he would use those delightful foot skills to put it inboard a bit more.
- Backline unit, thought they all played their role well and had the best game as a unit and most had their best or one of their best games for the year tonight. Maybe they had a slumber party or something last night, whatever it was worked:D
- Sidebum, plenty to like about this lad, hope he can continue on with the way he has started. I'm not into the "10 year player" call yet, but he has shown he can play the game and would love to see him in Pies clours in 10 years.
- The win!!! After the past two weeks I was very concerned about tonight, so despite it being one of the most ordinary games I've watched in a fair while skill wise those 4 points are sweet like nuts.:thumbsu:
