Yawn.

Nothing franchise. We lock in our top 2 spot this weekend with 2 rounds to go.

Maybe trial a few strategies in game to keep it interesting ala Rance up forward vs Fremantle round 22, 2017.

Very hard to get too interested in this game.
Might even just watch it during the week after, and watch Geelong v Hawthorn as an honorary hawks fan for the day.

Respectfully disagree RD. I have a long memory of our dismal years where we were a real struggling side. Now we are on top of our game, I'm relishing every single game. Who comes in, who goes out. Those who come in, how do they fit back in and are they fluent in terms of our game plan. Is Dusty going to go animal this week. Can Higgins keep continuing to improve. How is our defensive pressure going to go against a vulnerable opponent. I could go on but I'll leave it at that mate. Plenty to look forward to.

I want to see us kick a big score and send another message to the contenders. We have not done it this year. We sit on top because of a superb defense and excellent pressure around the ground but if we’re honest we can do a lot better in the fwd line, maybe by not over using the ball.

Kicked plenty of big scores and mostly against contenders. But yes fwd 50 conversion would be a focus

Highest score we scored was 121 points back in Round 1. Not very high compared to the highs of other teams in the competition.

Sometimes we just need to go for goal instead of trying to find someone with the smallest angle and is the closest to the goal.

There comes a point when there is an expectation that the team sitting 1st after 19 rounds comfortably accounts for the team that is sitting 17th on the ladder in that same period - even if it is away from home. I have reached that point.

Seriously, we have not won a single interstate game so far. I think we also need to show more forward line potency. Yes, we are ranked second, but we all probably know how much opportunities we waste per game. Need to kick-start our Premiership defence this year by a statement game this week just as we did last year when we travelled to Fremantle in Perth and beat them by 104 points.
