Pretty sure she'll be "all hands on deck" at Foxtel that day mate, 3 Fox games scheduled on the box and all appear to be interstate

Also, I see you jagged the lad my Rushworth mates call "Jungle" ..... good get :thumbsu:

You gotta hand it to the BEST president & committee in ALL of the known Football world. Jason Allen & the Riddells Creek Footy & Netball Club Committee are the pinnacle of what all community sporting clubs should strive to be.
Firstly they get the man at the centre of the biggest football news story in decades to headline their season opening sports day today. (FREE of charge !) Then they tell the AFL to go jump after the AFL try to intimidate & strong arm them into dropping Steven Dank off their program. Now they have a bidding war from the T.V. stations to cover the SOLD OUT event !

800+ people in attendance @ $200.00 = $160,000.00....+ raffle + auction + T.V. deal = ?????
NO wonder Riddell is the BEST footy club in the business !!!

If he turns up each week...the lad can play but had some reliability issues last season. Hopefully that is all behind him

Maybe the RDFL should go down the path of the AFL with the TV right deal and have the profit shared amongst clubs.

Maybe you can give us some money so we can encourage more umpires to join. Might have a chance to cover all games that way.

Results for Wallan practice matches vs hurstbridge.

18s lost. Not sure how much by
Ressies got up by a goal
Seniors lost by 5 goals.

The seniors was a pretty even contest all day apart from the 3rd qtr where hurstbridge kicked 8 goals to 1. Sammy at full forward had another good game kicking 7. Trav Hede, Keegan Marc, Shannon Galea were our better players.

On a personal note, it felt good being back out there and playing with the boys after doing me ankle mid 2012.

Intra club game next Saturday morning before the big round 1 clash vs Kilmore.

From what I saw yesterday Bonnie Doon will travel ok this year. It maybe possible that they were missing a few players as were we. But still it was a good tough hit out

Very sorry to hear that O.U, especially after the Fantastic campaign you guys have been running of late too. Do you have any idea what's causing the problem, or any suggestion/s that may help resolve the issue ???

Not really sure what else can be done. Lost a few to work commitments and lost a couple that have decided to play rather than umpire.

Also we really haven't had anyone that has umpired saturday footy walk through the door. Got some youngsters who will do u/18's who will turn into handy umpires but we really need more guys. At this stage we need a few people to do u/18/reserve doubles which isn't ideal.
