false

contract would stand and is definitely worth the paper it is written on

Sorry to say this has been tested if not lodged with league the chances of upholding contract is minimal there would be a mediation but this has been tested several times and the club contracted to who had not lodged the contract correctly has failed

Been involved with one about three years ago

Wel well, just got confirmation from a reliable higher source within the club. No suspension was ever handed down. He apparently was granted leave from the club for personal reasons but has decided to leave the club. There ends that rumour.

Your reliable source is incredibly unreliable!

I haven't been leading on anything, I have just corrected some people when they are posting false information
This source has no need to lie. A suspension hasn't been put in place for Hickman. The president of the Club can even back that statement. Maybe ask him then get back to writing a response

Pretty simple, Broadford offers up a few barrels, the player gets cleared and everyone's a winner.

Well that's how it used to play out anyway ;)

Sounds like some mayonnaise put on this with political correctness. My reading is Hickman may need to stand out of footy for the remaining 2016. Sounds lime he's driving a wedge meaning Melton will stand firm.
Maybe a barrel will need to change hands like Doona sa

Wandered over to watch our RDFL under 15s at Macedon today, considering the weather leading up to game time the ground appeared to have held up pretty good which I'm sure the host club would be rapt about :thumbsu:

Under 14s play Monday at Riddell if people looking to kill a few hours - some pretty talented kids coming thru the ranks.

From what I heard, the league were very nervous about the ground and only gave the green light on Thursday.

Under 13's today at Airport West was entertaining, although the EDFL and WRFL were too strong

Who cares??? If a player from Riddell wants to leave we open the door very wide. That's what club culture is all about. Not many players leave us but if they want out bye bye

Should be a good weekend of footy coming up with some pretty decent match ups ahead.

Big test for us up against Riddell. Like most of the other sides don't know much about them, but I'm sure this will be another tough one. Got a lot of confidence I would think out of the Sunbury win, but this is big. Riddell probably win, but hopefully close.

Macedon by 34 over Sunbury
Broadford by 26 over Melton

Lancefield v Rupertswood another huge game. Lancefield more than capable of a win here. Them by 8.
Romsey by 16 over Woodend and Diggers by 140+ over Rockbank.

Very strong rumour out of Melton that they have signed a gun mid from the edfl, would be in the top 10 players in the rdfl, good to see they are moving in the right direction, with Hickman moving on hopefully some of that negative feelings around the club will start to disappear and you might see Melton might steal a few games in the last half of the year.

That's why Riddell are such a strong club, considered a strong club and consistently have high level of results 'Blanket'. What is the latest on Hickman?

So the rumour was true, just seen on the clearances Michael Egan from abers to Melton centrals, wow wee that's a huge get, like I said before this bloke is a jet, will dominate the rdfl, will be interesting him lining up against some former team mates this weekend against broadford !!!

Is the big full forward still at Melton?

Think Egan recently played at Tullamarine and was there B&F winner in 2014. I have no idea if his even played this year but is in his latter years. But agree he should go well in the RDFL.. I don't know a lot about him tbh.

Ripping player ! really really good get for Centrals would be top 5 in the RDFL even in his twilight.

Don't know him myself but is it the guy who kicked a bag against Rockbank? If so I watched him play a game after that and he couldn't get a touch.I wouldn't call him a big full forward just a big bloke.Too many are too quick to label themselves and others as good players without consistent strong performances over long periods.
Out of interest how many goals has this "big full forward"kicked in recent years?
