Come on guys must be some recruits ????
Getting towards cams now & only 1 name thrown up - keston to the wrfl or the cmfl following Helmers
Local footy is to TAXING on volunteers and to many TOOLS out there got better things to do theses days ....
Like watching eating pies and drinking frofies...

I imagine Rupo will be the benefit of some fantastic local product moving from the 18.5's up to senior level, the likes of Scanlon, Featon (Pending TAC games) , Cannolo, Franti-Glen, Crawford, Bailie, Castle, Caldone Jnr, Cicero Jnr all who have shown to be decent players in the 18's, all 1 pointers of course and most who will play for min chips on the whole scale of things.

Roll on 2017, C'mon Sharks

Wallan have signed a guy by the name of Timmy Robertson from hadfield! Watch out for him premiership player, made team of the year in premiership year in 2015 kicked 40 odd but was cut down last year by an ankle he will excite the rdfl playing half forward

Come on butterbing surely we can agree I did a great job at Romsey coaching back to back flags and I played the kids regardless of what I copped from "some" of the heirachy and I did it all for free. I was offered 200 a game to stay and unfortunately that lack of respect led to my departure. I went to broadford because a position arose a long time afterwards and I didn't want to be lost to footy so I took it. I will return to Romsey some day but hopefully there's been big changes before that happens

Not having a go at you at all, I think you are a very good coach and would come & watch the side where ever you coach. You know how to attract good quality players & makes football exciting. You did a fantastic job at Romsey & lifted them up to be a powerhouse side

Yeh heard a couple of weeks ago was an offer too good to refuse so good on him .... and them as something needs to change in order for them to push on in September
Absolutely agree they need some experience on the field that can guide there talented young list. They are not far away from challenging the best. If they pick up the 4 players mentioned it could be a good year for Rupo

Funnily enough the change to help next September will start early November, last years summer was spent with game style, this year will b a lot different and involved plenty of fitness. Be prepared to c some fit sharks next year.

That won't win them a flag they need some season hard nuts as when the going gets tuff the Sharks seem to turn into Nemo

Tough nuts get Broadford a flag? No it didn't, fitness helps decision making and breeds a toughness, mind u tough is putting ur head over the ball, backing back into a pack, not the crap that most do to get sent off, that's not tough bro.

Can tell you this 2015 final against broadford and ruppo wasn't won with talent ruppo had it on all lines broadford had talent but hard nuts the game plan was to attack the ball and within the rules be physical and can tell you that's what won the game ... Finals are physical contest and most grounds there played on ain't expansive ovals except for lancefield would love to coach ruppo they have stacks talent but need a touch of the old bulldog to go the next step ...

Don't get to carried away keston not all finals are physical it does not go up a tempo just because it's the finals you don't go into a game and say to yourself I'm only going to go at 90% that shit is for sucks who watch Friday nite football with Bruce and bt, look at this years gf for example

Deano will dominate in rdfl, much more polished than any broadford hack

Interesting reading that Putt might be heading to Rupo. He should go well in this comp but his very inconsistent. Definitely has talent but didn't set the world on fire for Keilor. Was serviceable at best, but for someone of his height just didn't seem to do enough. Watched a few of his games when he played VFL for Bendigo Gold some years ago, and he was pretty good for them.
I'm guessing he will be on good coin so hope you get value for money from him. This could be his issue, the pressure to perform constantly when your on good coin.

With regards to the Broadford comment, it will be interesting to see how he goes against big Philpot. Haven't watched the big fella for a few years, but he was a bloody good ruckman when at Marby Park.

Best of luck to both clubs heading into 2017 pre season..

All 3 are past players. Should be good pickups .[/QUO

i would play keep Jordan Braddy in the Ruck and play Putt deep forward at 200+cm there wouldn't be many sides who could match up on him. As long as the forward 50 entries are there I can see him kicking a few.

Don't wish to invade your forum boys, but Footy fan I think Putt is more suited to playing in the ruck as his very athletic or use his as a mobile CHF. I can't comment on this Braddy guy as I haven't seen him play. Not sure Putt is suited to a key forward playing out of the square. In the ruck his not accountable for a player "as such" so think that's his best spot as at times he look disinterested but think that's just his body language. At Keilor he played second fiddle to Browne and was only really used as a second ruck, which didn't suit him. He needs to be played as your main ruck IMO. If his up & about each week he will no doubt be a dominant player in rdfl.
Anyway enough from me on this player.
