As for John baker I have been told he was in negotiations with Broadford at one stage but hopefully he stays at sunbury after all the hard work they put in last year to get him out of his signed contract with romsey....... bet he is regretting that decision....... Narhhh probably not, John is a terrific guy and can play a bit but is terrible at commitment and always demands money he isn't capable of demanding!!!!

Got some handy mids already murphy brothers one is raining Bowen medal winner. Young cuffe, jake young and will get back rourke smith if he doesn't get drafted.
Maybe some bigger bodied mids required to match the likes of Romsey and diggers and the likes.

Could be wrong but I was told Baker has gone to Marby Park. Some of the Sunbury players absolutely scathing of him. Just disappeared apparently. Others less scathing. Kicked goals when he played and just a different cat.

Richmond is not the answer for any of the battling clubs if they have in fact spent money signing him. You can't complain about spending gaps then pay average players. I'm sure he is a lovely kid but at this stage a below average player.

Sunbury v diggers

Big winners in my opinion of the EARLY DRAFT of the fixture are Broadford and Lancefield, they don't play any of the Big 5 twice.
Woodend, Macedon, Melton centrals double up with big 5 clubs twice. Kilmore, RockBank and Wallan just the once.

Broadford play 11th April then no game until 2nd May will be tough to prepare players.
Sunbury biggest loser play each of the four other top five sides twice.
