Haha! didn't find the kisses cute? That's a shame... I just find it a pisser logging in once or twice a week to keep up to date with all the shit that every1 talks on here... Every1 is an expert with what's going on around each individual club. When reality is people don't have a clue. I find it frustrating that all you afl coaches want every1 out there to know what's happening with in the club when really you shouldn't be trying to talk yaselfs up, just keep what's happening with in the club between the people that are actually there. Why would you want people from other clubs to know that you've recruited a star midfielder? Who cares? Let them figure it out when that recruit gets 30 touches and kicks 3 goals... Get a life, and a mrs ya nerd. And please don't kick me off the forum, it would really upset me xxx
While there is no doubt that FISH is the standout ruckman of the Comp, to say that Yak is a very average footballer is complete garbage. Multiple club best and fairest, multiple RDFL Ream of Year, multiple Interleague rep and multiple top 5 in the Bowen Medal. Sounds like the bloke is a bit better than an average footballer.
As we follow the AFL guide lines, i dont think it will be long before every club will need to provide an accredited First Aid person to identify players who have been concussed, as they wont be allowed to go back onto the field. we all know at times it is very hard to find trainers as it is, but this will open a can of worms.

Like I said, In my opinion... From what iv seen, average... Stats are fantastic and good on the bloke but from what iv seen first hand (and I haven't seen him in his prime obviously) but I don't rate him up there with the other ruckman in the league

The reality is that in a local level league, promotion of your club is vital, people on here are passionate about the league and about their club, and that is what a forum is about.. If someone is pumped about their club and what their club is doing it's a good thing.
Lets be honest, you are simply trolling for a response, so you really don't deserve one, but some of the people on here are well qualified to talk about this league.. They have been involved for a very long time and know thier stuff.. Apart from a random troll now and then (such as yourself)... You are looking to get yourself booted, and that's fine, good luck to you.. But so you are aware, no one gives a flying what your opinion is, you are clearly in the minority amongst us "nerds" in here...

Some of the shit I read on here about the club I'm involved in could not be further from the truth... I'd love to have done it again.
Trying to get a Rep' from all the teams in the comp' was a bit of a chore ! Some were great (Sprechen, Joeblow, Mongrel, slyone & Doona etc etc) Some went MIA & had to be hounded for their votes through the season. Bit late now I guess to get one up & running. Kilmore, Broadford & Diggers were the sides I found it very difficult to get any representation from. May have another crack if enough people are interested. If you want to be a Rep' for your team in an MVP personal message me & we will see how we go ???

, I myself have had my fair share of pots at blokes playing in the league on this thread, mainly when they rough up a Hawker or the like, but have never really trolled to the extent you have. You started off well and then went downhill pretty quick. As IMS said we are all a bunch of passionate followers who love the league and our respective towns/teams. I take offence to ur comment that most of us dont know shit about what our sides are up to week to week. We travel around the place following our mates every saturday being them players or fellow followers, but all in all mate, we are what makes this league tick in terms of support and passion for our respective teams. There are many times I would prefer to watch my local side play than go and watch my beloved Pies in town. Next time ur at Gilbert Gordon make yourself known and we'll have a beer and talk about how much you think I dont know and we will go from there. To everyone else...bring on round one and I cant wait to see how the Roos and Hawks game unfolds, should be a huge crowd for the big mans homecoming, and I know how much he loves playing against a quality side like Woodend. Just noticed it was declined and the Kanga's have lodged a 2nd this morning if the early suggestions about Woodend are correct they wont need Aaron tomorrow anyway.
Still plenty of late clearances sitting there "pending" in cyberspace, assuming the usual last minute phone calls between clubs would be frantically happening all afternoon and night.

Thats fantastic news for Tills and the other coaches. However the season pans out I'm sure those who've stuck by their club will learn a heap from Tills, he has been a very much respected coach and mentor wherever he has been involved

The Bombers will unfurl their 2011 Premiership Flag this weekend against the Burras. The challengers are stepping up to take them on, but the Bombers are perennial contenders and enjoy being the yardstick of the competition, I would expect nothing less this year. The query will be the lack of a big ruckman and height through the back half, but the Bombers midfield is outstanding and strengthened with the recruiting of Moss and Robertson. The Bombers also have multiple forward options. Allen will return from last year, while Robertson and Ruffell will ensure that the Bombers have plenty of forward targets. Have heard that Levi Moss may have torn his achillies at training last night and that Matthew Baird may have retired, which will have an impact for the Bombers.

The Burra's go into season 2011 firing and ready at another tilt at the flag. While they have had minimal losses to the Senior list, the losses of Daniel Reilly and Jason Davies will no doubt impact the set up of the side. The signing of Brett Caton is huge for the Burra, there is no secret that last year I rated him the top player in the competition. Cam Saliba is a hard at it on baller that will add a bit of spice to the Burra midfield already full of talent. Notoriously underrated the Burra will no doubt be a contender again in 2011.

Key Outs - Adam Fenton.
The Kangaroos have recruited hard over the off season, but it might not be the names above that have the biggest impact. Coach Dean Helmers will return to the field as fit as ever, while the return of Bobby Johnson fully fit again is a big coup.. With the players returning and recruits coming in, the Kangaroos are considered one of the favorites for the 2011 season.

Key Ins - ?? Really dont know enough about the recruits at the Hawks.

The Hawks will be pushing the youth in 2011 and will be a surprise packet for any side that comes up against them. There is no doubt that many of their youngsters will get great opportunity. With the key losses of 4 players that many would widely consider the Hawks top group of 2010, it might take a little while for the young Hawks to gel, but they will surely be a very competitive unit.

The Cats were impressive in their hitout against Yea when they implimented the full ground press on their opponents. Al Meldrum has continued the good work around discipline within the club. After a solid preseason the Cats will be a contender in 2011.

The Rams, in my opinion, will be the biggest improvers of 2011. Already one of the toughest opponents to come up against the Rams have added depth to the midfield with Johns, while a good majority of the side has had a good preseason. Kennedy will be a loss but Krul will shoulder most of the ruck work. Look for the Rams to fight out a spot in the top 6.
Broadford
Key Ins - Michael Gillard, Neill Swann, Matthew Williams.
Key Outs - Damien Barton
Broadford will improve their stocks with new coach Matt Finch doing some solid recruiting over the off season. Swann will give them much needed height in the ruck while Gillard returning brings them a key backman to assist Grant Wearne. The Roos will improve quite a bit in 2011 and their youngsters will only be better for the games they put in last year.

Some big ins for the Magpies, but some massive outs, the question will be whether they will be able to counter the losses of some key players. They have recruited pretty well which will add some depth. the Magpies will be in the mix for a top 6 position.

With the clearances for the Gordon brothers still in dispute, the Blues are in dangerous territory. They have lost key depth and the biggest name in the RDFL. There may be some positives with the rumours that Jacobs may have decided to return to the club in a playing role, it would be the good news that the club needs as 6 weeks ago they were a premiership contender, now they are in troubled waters.
