All this money owing to league and salary cap stuff its easy to fix. Ask Melbourne Storm. You dont pay to the league or you get caught over in the salary cap you get no points for the ladder until financial or suspension lifted. Clubs that owe money stil from previous years now play and get no points untill they are finanacial. Easy fix !! Sides have played finals over the years still owing money but still playing their players fully for the season doesnt make sense . Other sides have missed finals but pay their league fees fully as required.

AGM outcome media release attached FYI

Congratulations to Knotty on taking on the role as president .. he is extremely passionate and hard-working and will be a fantastic pro-active member in his role.
A massive congratulations to Ollie on his journey as president.. the league was only made better for his presence .. looking forward to seeing how much amazing work Knotty will do over the next 12 months for the RDFNL.. he loves the league in all areas.. his passion is contagious

Great result changeover in Board, getting two club land presidents on the board also. Hopefully they remain independent and focus on the league as a whole. 16 round season a cop out we have another season where draw will impact the standings at the end of the year. Final 5 a great result.

Wayne Patak handy signing for Woodend

Wayne comes to us from Spotswood FC (WRFL) where he finished 2nd in their B&F, he also finished 4th in the league medal. A 4 time Premiership player and multiple team of the year representative with Spotswood and Aberfeldie, Wayne comes with a wealth of experience and success.
A strong bodied inside mid with polished skills Wayne is a very exciting addition to our already strong squad.

At this stage, looks to be an exciting year ahead.

Woodend & Macedon looks to have recruited well.

The change to a final 5 adds excitement.

7 teams look like they could possibly make finals.

The fixture looks to have been made as even as possible without everyone playing each other twice.

Has Rupo picked anyone up or are they saving themselves for 2021 and the EDFL?

I’m hearing there is more from Greenvale at Wallan then the one clearence that has been lodged.

I’m sure in the next clearence window, there will be a surprise or two.
