This response doesn’t actually make any sense you really are a goose Dave.
And I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing twos at the end of my career, it gave me an appreciation for the fact that they are the lifeblood of any club.

Fingers crossed that clubs, league officials and those at Goldfields step up, unite together and work towards making this competition a strong force that will have teams from other competitions knocking down the door wanting to join, instead of the other way around.

Might be a good thing Rupo going. Takes a little of the heat out of the top end. Essentially Rupo, Diggers and Riddell are naturally the strongest teams/clubs. As in they don’t push the absolute limit to win a flag, Romney and Macedon can compete but it takes greater effort from the club. Wallan slightly behind but the others need to go all in to be a chance of just playing finals. If the money and or standard drops a little at the top because some pressure is removed the gap which at the moment is causing the problems will be reduced. Having too many strong teams has caused the issues. In a more balanced comp when Broadford spent the cash a couple of years ago they would have won it but we had good teams not even making finals that year. Just an idea happy to be shot down.

FFS will you blokes grow up

Yep, thereabouts. Obviously some will be on more and some less, but $200 - $250 would be the average player payment if clubs are paying up to the cap limit.
IF you are paying full 110,000 over 16 games comes out at just under 7,000 a week or 300 per player.

At many clubs the bottom 12 or so players would be lucky to get 1,000 in total a game while the top 10 players would share in 6,000 a game.

how many pay the 110,000
just a guess but would be surprised if the sides that finished in the top 7 this year didn’t pay pretty close to it.

Salary cap this year is dependent on clubs not owing the league many. Whatever monies are owed to the league will be deducted from the available salary cap. ( at least that’s what the league is threatening).

16 Rounds next year, wait with interest to see the outcome of the survey might have better received if it was put out a couple of months earlier to give clubs a better chance to budget for 18 rounds
With it looking like a 10 team season seems strange not to take the opportunity to finally get a fair fixture with 18 rounds play everyone twice? 16 rounds makes no sense
