Give me a spell Turbo. Chris Stewart was belting blokes all game on Sunday not to mention the Qualifying final with gut punches etc. He gets away with way too much of that stuff and the umpires are intimidated by him.
Your having a go at a ruckman who is protecting himself in a ruck contest with his knee up.
Grabham rucked all day V 2-3 Wallan ruckman and never took a backward step all day
Stewart was lucky not to get reported a few times for belting the smallest bloke on the ground in Pannucio who i thought was fantastic all day.

If a ruckman is inexperienced enough to protect himself with his thigh you’d be crazy not to launch right into it and give him a corky.
Must be poor coaching to not stop a ruckman from doing that.

Watched my first RDFL game for the year Sunday(spent my year NFNL Div 1 & EDFL Premier Div). Fantastic venue, great crowd , good physical contest, very well done by all. I recall an announcement that Riddell League is now a Premier Competition, is that correct? If so , the pure football standard is well below NFNL & EDFL. Both those teams would be in relegation battle in those comps
Premier Competition rating doesn’t correlate to the actual standard. But now players coming from other prem comps don’t get extra points and if someone goes from Riddell to Div 1 EDFL ( essentially the same standard) they would get an extra player point. Well I think that’s what would occur, player points are a minefield sometimes

Everyone worrying about a few love taps. It wasn’t that long ago that Riddell were happy to defend two brothers who king hit then kicked a player at 3/4 time.

It's not like the bloke getting some back doesn't dish out his fair share of crap on the field.

Relegation battle? Not in the top grade. They aren’t anywhere near 1st division(NFNL) or premier division(EDFL) teams.

Wallan's loss is now Lalor's problem.

I didn't really know Jake that well until he turned up at Wallan. My son's a good mate of his, but he seems like a nice fellow.

Weren’t happy with his performance Auck??
Could also be to relieve some money in the cap for a couple of others from EDFL 😄

He can barely walk mate. I thought in the end he was good value. Finishing off (if it's true) at Lalor would be a good option.

Aucklander was supposed to be the savior and bring premiership success to Wallan
Would have been better off playing a young kid
Again so much hype about Wallan but continue to fail and disappoint, biggest town size (apart from Melton, who have 3 clubs thougu) and haven't won anything

Was he really? I don't actually play. LoL.

Anyway, my understanding was that, Stewart, Stewart and Rode were the key off-season signings and Carlisle and Bellino were just bonuses. Not sure why they'd not take them when they came.

I notice you still haven't provided any proof of Jake heading to Lalor and it's certainly not on the Northern or Lalor FB pages.

They still played kids. Some will be at the Bowen Medal count.

It's the curse of the Magpies I think.

Aucklander not sure how hard it is to scroll up through page where Lalorboy1 states it. Was on NFNL page yesterday.

Just nit sure what it does for the culture, would have been better playing a young kid or someone who has been wallan through and through, not someone who played a handful of games and looks.like moving on.

15 odd years back in the RDFL biggest drawing area and seems to have coin but yet to win a senior premiership. You might be right, curse of the magpie
