That’s way overs and ridiculous money for both these players. Understand clubs need to pay overs but that’s probably 3x
Both been paid good $$$ to play B Grade football and get an easy kick, so now they are too lazy or scared to play against the big boys in Premier Division so take the easy option to go to a lesser league.

Melton centrals with 2 new recruits
Got 4 only need 6 more to compete with the bottom feeders

We got some massive announcements soon be aware of the panther
Keep hearing this on big footy but nothing is actually being shared by the club about so called massive recruits. Melton South keep spruiking but they are in for a rude shock, the competition has improved a lot. For example the two brothers (Thornton-Guilin?) came across to Centrals a couple of years ago (and have gone back to South) and they didn’t exactly dominate the competition. Nothing against the boys, one of them was one of South’s better players.

I guess time will tell…

It’s only early days. Not all clubs need to promote recruit just to show they have something coming in.

For the record the 2 Thornton-Galen boys were more than handy at Ballarat league prior to moving. Put them into a competitive side and they will go well. Both boys returning to their home club which is great but also a huge bonus for South to have players wanting to return. Believe they have contacted a lot of ex players which is a positive move going forward. If they can top up with a bit of class and some depth that can only be a good thing for everyone.

Congrats to Chris Stewart of Wallan for winning Bowen Medal at tonight’s medal count. And further congrats to Matty Traynor of Wallan on his third consecutive Scarborough Medal for B&F in the reserves competition. What an achievement! Congrats also to Tom Doyle of Gisborne Giants on winning the Charles Watson Medal in the 19s comp.

Well well well
I’m the first person to bag out centrals but after a few phone calls over the last few days the money been given to these blokes is an absolute bargain also hearing wallan threw close to 500 more then what they were offered at centrals and there is apparently 3-4 more top line players they have already signed

We will still beat you all by 10 goals goodluck though

Interesting you have never posted before South joined the RDFNL. Everyone thought Kyneton would tear a new one in the RDFNL and at LEAST THEY WERE COMPETITIVE IN THEIR MAJOR LEAGUE JUST REFRESH ME PLEASE ON YOUR LAST WIN????

Lancefield got any hope next year or spooners again?

Interesting topic this one, personally I reckon they’re gonna be absolutely ****ing shit. The whole club is a bloody joke and the league tries to boost their confidence by winning club of the year. Don’t think they had a standout team in any age group in the juniors and their future looks far below underwhelming. Think the league may be running out of spoons to give em.
