Had my first experience with proper Canberra winter today. -3 when I woke up and I spent a good 15mins scraping ice off my car.

Why is this hole the capital city of Australia again?
Canberra is what happens when Sydney and Melbourne fight.

-3 is only the beginning.

Damn what a turn around by Boston in game 1 late in the 4th quarter

Down by 3, next minute a 20-2 run to completely flip it

That was about the time I turned it on just to see what happened because it looked close

Apologies to any GSW fans

100000x more exciting
I wouldn't be against 4 day tests (or 3 if you wanted to go extreme) and force curators to adjust their pitches for results.

T20 is incredibly underrated imo, but Test cricket is number 1 by a mile. Especially when the Poms are collapsing
A lot of people turn their nose at T20 because they think they have to in order to be seen as "real cricket fans".

I think it's also that between the BBL and Australia rarely playing their best players in T20Is, the standard of T20 here is well below other parts of the world.

4 day tests need to become much more accepted just to make it easy for the job powerhouse nations to host them. Apparently Aus, England and India are the only countries who don't lose money hosting tests.

Bloody annoying. They’re very different games really. Perfectly ok to like both of them for what they are.

Could not agree more.

Especially (imo) when swing bowling is involved, and not because the pitch is so bad Michael Clarke is taking 6/9.
Even when Australia is on the end of the collapse, there is something compelling about watching unplayable quick bowling.

Still remember vividly watching these two tests

This is about a VR Headset for cows, to show open pastures and reduce stress.

And how do they tackle the distress caused by what they can see not matching up with what they can feel, hear and smell? If I started seeing things that didn't line up with everything my other senses were telling me, I'd be pretty concerned.

Even dreams I have where I'm sitting in my car or something and everything seems normal but I can feel my blankets on me make me super anxious.

Should we be worried that it’s apparently getting to the point that it’s cheaper to develop cutting edge technology to make cows think they’re in open pastures, than to just put cows in open pastures?
