The amount of disinformation and conspiracy on the internet/social media over the last decade makes it such an unpleasant place to be at times
And it's speeding up with the help of Muskrat and his slimy pals...it's like a swirling abyss of all that's wrong with mankind, maybe it'll implode under its own skanky weight, or disappear up it's own misinformed rectum, like a huge black hole - but then it'd probably be a conspiracy or the fault of DEI?

It's taken me a long time to get around to watching Slow Horses on Appletv. A gritty UK spy thriller series with Gary Oldman -
''A dysfunctional team of MI5 agents and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb, navigate the espionage world's smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces...'"

I've been binge-watching at nights in my Bali hotel room (sure beats watching the Orange Boofhead on multiple TV channels!).
Nearly finished season 3, season 4 to go...excellent series.
Has Jagger singing the theme song.

What's with the amount of UK crime thriller type shows out of late? Netflix has had a fair few. I don't mind them but have been wondering what's behind so many hitting the screens. Maybe it's more to do with Netflix just picking them all up or the States not making many.

Don't know? I generally prefer UK/Euro/Nordic crime thrillers for something different, a bit grittier, more real? American stuff generally can be really formulaic, cliched, beautiful actors, Hollywood etc - but having said that, there's been plenty of good creative American stuff too. Slow Horses first came out in 2022...

How can you wake up in the middle of the night and be thirsty whilst needing to go to the toilet? Surely your body can sort something out to make an equilibrium of sorts.

I think Bear Grylls has the solution to that one
