Elroy was a very underrated addition to Community.

Everything about season 6 was underrated because so few people watched it.

Elroy and Frankie were both great additions. The Star Wars rip off movie episode was one of the best in the show’s history IMO. And they even managed to bring back paintball and do it in a way that didn’t tread over old ground.

Such a good show. I've only gone through the whole series once though.

Nothing beats the early seasons with Chevy Chase and Donald Glover though. Don't care if Chase is an absolute w***er in real life, when he left/got fired it went downhill fast.

The last season was good though.

Also landed the series finale, which seems to be a pretty rare feat these days.

I dunno, maybe I’ve just been lucky with my shows but most of them have had great finales.

Comedies I know inside out and back to front that landed the finale:
Community
The Office
Parks and Rec
The Good Place (clubhouse leader)
Brooklyn 99
Scrubs (the real ending in S8, forget the next season happened)

Comedies that didn’t:
How I Met Your Mother.

Why do you have to bring this up when we were all having such a nice time.

Fair point.

The maddening thing is that they were so close to pulling it off. I could’ve lived with Barney and Robin getting divorced five minutes into the finale if they’d ditched the “kill off the mother and go back to Robin for the 80th time” move and ended it at them meeting on the platform. (Ie the alternative ending they put on the DVD).

How I Met Your Mother.

Actually I’ll add a couple of long running comedies I know way better than I’d like:
Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men

BBT finale was alright apart from ending with all the white nerdy guys shacked up with women way too good for them, while the Indian nerd was on his lonesome. Plus spending a season establishing Penny didn’t want kids then making her pregnant and fine with it.

2.5 Men was just a train wreck of unneeded cameos and winks to the camera.

Not only do I not call her that, I don't even understand the reference.

sigh another friend lost...

I call her Ghostface.

It's like 2 different generation's making the same joke but using a different punchline.
