Varsity usually show the fight if that's more your pace. Good beers. Hopefully a better crowd.

Yeah crowd would definitely be more bearable there. Guys that go out to watching fights tend to want to prove to everyone that they can fight IRL. Mixing the booze in doesn't help much either.

And yeah for $55 you want some mates coming around to chip in.

Back in the days when I was more into it (GSP times) we used to pull all nighters and cook up a breakfast and watch all the fights - everyone chipping in $20 or so. Too old for that shit now, Murtaugh.

Yeah plenty of turbos about at UFC screenings. Depends where you go, though. Cas or dodgy pubs you're in for a shit time. Went to the Gate once with the wife to watch UFC and it kicked off when the main card was on. Some pretty sloppy scragging before bouncers got there. We left after we finished our drinks as it was pretty clear the arvo wasn't going to get any better if we stayed.

Will the QE2 Hospital be renamed KC3? What’s the protocol for renaming a hospital? /s

I doubt it. QEII isn't a hospital anyway, it's a Medical Centre (campus). King Edward Memorial Hospital has retained its name even though King Edward died in 1910 and was actually named after him when it opened in 1916.

Generally a hospital only changes name if it is rebuilt somewhere else. Most recent example is Perth Children's Hospital which was formerly Princess Margaret Hospital when it was based in Subiaco.

The protocol is the bigger the object, the more time is allowed because of the disruption caused by changing signage.

Hence, the band called Queen will be renamed before December, QEII Hospital renamed before the end of 2023, and Queensland by 2030 at the latest.

I forgot sarcasm doesn’t translate to text

Football (soccer) at all levels cancelled in England. Some under-nines having a kick around on the weekend would be disrespectful so very happy with the decision and not at all a ****ing weird choice.
