Midfield is scary. Deeply talented. Rotations all match and everyone can feast.

Good mix with Fyfe bullying his way through people.

Jackson is something other teams can't contend with. Too big, fast and agile. He becomes another mid when the ball hits the deck. And has great tap work.

I’m rather deflated with those injuries. For mine they are both shot for the year. Chapman still weeks away and Draper/Davies not ready yet.

I can see why you would feel that way. However, we don't know the extent of the injuries yet, so I will wait and see what happens.

Chappy will be back in two to three and in the meantime we know Ryan can play tall. If we can back our system in anywhere it is in the back half.

Walker will add lightning pace next week. There is much to look forward to.

poshman I'm attributing every win this year to this thread.

It is the place to be! How enjoyable was that game?

We weren't perfect but we dismantled a top team without our best 22. Players getting injured, the opposition coming and Amiss slots on the angle followed by Brayshaw willing the ball forward and Freddy kicking a gem to seal it!

It is time for optimism at freo!

Is that the sound of optimism building?!

Oh yes it is!

What a sunny, stunning Monday! You've woke up, got ready for work with enthusiasm, played with the kids, tapped the wife on the butt, smiled at people on the train and are looking forward to a start of the year that will have us 6-1.

Oh baby! Does life get better than this!

I think Port will be tough in Adelaide. Carlton match up well with us, but that will be limited if Fyfe is being a bull inside.

At worst I have us 5-2, but, I think we will win one of the Port/Carlton games.
While I agree with your logic, I don’t think you fully understand the thread, an optimist would have us at 7-0!
