Had a chat with a mate who works at the club last week. He said the confidence and atmosphere at the club was very high right now. Talking complete buy in, improvement being driven by 23 and under players. Said it felt different when they came back for training.

He isn't one to say much and isn't one to talk them up or down. Coming from him they were big statements.

I almost asked him if he understood that the decade of dominance had begun..

As in age or position in the squad?

Treacy and Amiss fully realizing their potential as a unit in 2025:

I almost think we have to look at their combined goals going forward rather than individual. The team needs to exploit who is on fire or on a better match up. Team first.

2023 - 41 + 15 = 66
2024 - 36 + 45 = 81

Hopefully crack the 100 in 2025 and don’t look back.

Then if Dogga can kick a goal a game like in 2023, and start catching more than he drops, we’d have the best tall forward set up in the league.

Agree Jackson could improve our forward line if he just managed to hang onto more of the marks he currently fumbles. If he goes at a goal a game in 2025 we will have some serious scoring potential.
Given the improvement Treacy made to his marking in 2024 I can see how much a young player can improve in a short time. Apart from Jackson the other player who most needs to improve his marking is Voss. If he can become a reliable mark he could have a reasonable AFL career but if he doesn't improve that part of his game he will find it hard to hold down a spot in an AFL team.
I just hope Jackson and Voss can "do a Treacy" in 2025.

Hopefully Jackson has done some work this off-season on his contested marking, we need it badly. I think he's up to it.
I think it will improve with him not having to lead the ruck. He will have more energy and not be as sore in general. Add to that some focussed work and he will be dangerous around the ground this season.

Who are the 2 absolute rippers that Healy says we picked up this season? One is Shai Bolton , who is the other? I think we traded only one player right?

I recon not trading anybody is worth a player. The other options are Narkle or Reid.

I think our list management this off-season was exactly what it needed to be, we delisted the players that needed to go, whether they were past it (Taberner and Hughes), or just weren't doing what they needed to (Emmett, Stanley and the likes), we picked up an elite player in Bolton, grabbed some small forward depth in Narkle, who along with Bolton will help entice Pickett to come to Fremantle next year, picking up Dudley as a train on will also help, our draft picks were solid, Reid looks to be the steal of the draft, Nicholls can be key forward depth and develop alongside Voss in the WAFL, Carr as a father/son selection just feels right, Riddle will be a long term prospect.

Very happy, the coaching changes we made were great too.

With all the talk around Bolton, Treacy and Amiss… Jackson seems to be flying under the radar a bit, boy if he gets going its a backlines nightmare, even if he drops the mark there’s a likely ball up / setup for Bolton to crumb, we should be relentlessly driving goal-ward in 25’!

💯 If he follows the 2024 Treacy model of holding his marks …..watch out.

Jackson could improve our forward line if he didn't have to ruck full time.
