The Twin Mysteries,
TreAmiss and DarCkson,
will ASTONISH the faithful and APALL the tothersiders !
YOKAI!
Looking forward to a commentator calling Amiss, Treacy and Jackson the 3 twin towers.

I can't remember who said it about another team a while back but I still giggle over that.

There is a flag up for grabs this year. The Lions now have Hipwood as their main tall. That doesn’t strike fear and with Charlie dropping off their main weapon of a potent forward line might be over. Sydney with another GF heartbreak and a new coach, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them drop back for a year. The chasing pack of Hawks, Dogs, Power, Cats, Blues, Pies, and Giants; all hold no fear.

The flag could be ours if we can pull it all together in the back half of the season. I really think we could jump up and pinch one this year.

Not playing finals the last two seasons isn't ideal, but most of our best 22 played in those 2022 finals - the epic comeback against the dogs and the loss against the Pies where they would have learnt a lot. Pies were playing on a different level that day and unsurprisingly won the flag the next year.

I like to think that you are a time traveler and this is all factual information from the future.

I am more convinced now than I was at the start of last season that we are set for an amazing run. Then I thought the success indicators were obvious, they have only increased.

So while I am not a time traveler, I am convinced.

With the age profile, Bolton and Reid it's easy to see how good we will get.

Bolton will play in a forward line with a talent level he hasn’t had for a couple of seasons. Reid looks classy and I’m still bullish on Simpson up forward.

Bolton isn’t a piece that should be hard to fit into the team.

Young has had a full, successful season in the midfield. And should still improve this year.

Chapman will continue to grow. An injury free preseason should see him take a leap this year.

Walker will get better just from reps on Bolton. Should also take a step or two forward.

Haven’t even touched on some of the obvious ones.

The only thing that worries me is that Young has had an interrupted pre season so far. It's all fine, even teams with good injury runs still have at least one. But I won't expect him to improve on last season initially.

He doesnt need to improve for us to win it all, we just need someone (Bolton) to pick up the slack while he's not in the middle. Last year, there was a gaping hole of creativity exiting stoppage whenever Youngy rested forward or was on the pine.

Thanks to our list management team, this has been adressed and the flaw is no-more.

Now chime with us! "The decade of dominance is upon us, the decade of dominance is upon us"!!!

Hmm rep's on Bolton for Walker is a great call I hadn't thought of, nice.
