2 incorrect reds in one game is unforgiveable.
Especially when one was for denying a goal scoring opportunity in the box, which has just been changed and would have been easy to realise.

The worse decision Oliver has made this season has to be getting lines in his hair.

Both Newcastle reds have been overturned, surely that ref gets demoted.

Just a follow up - apparently it was only the second time in football league history 2 red cards from the same game have been overturned.

What was interesting was Stephen Martin's (the ref in question) prior game he officiated was a non league fixture. Seems odd a guy would ref a non league match then be called onto managing a Championship fixture - would be quite the jump in terms of scrutiny and pressure I would have thought?

He missed out on reffing a match on the weekend but is back for the mid week Rotherham v Fulham match. Lord help those fans!

Just seen the Pogba goal. Handball by Zlatan was pretty blatant, not sure how the ref missed that one. Offside was there but marginal.
more than evened itself out later on with a blatant peno missed and an onside goal from juan called offside.

ref.should have sent off rojo for a 2 footer and one of theirs for a knee high challenge on Bailly.

Ref was atrocious.

Has a referee behind the goal ever made a decision? Seem to be a waste of time most of the time, too scared to overrule the ref.
Have seen them pay penalties in Europe, also called a couple of goal line decisions before the technology came in. Pretty much redundant now though, would be much better off having 2 linesman on each side instead.

The handball in the United box Palace got away with was pretty comical too. Basically just punched it out of the air

Pawson's game was very Paw, Son.

It seemed like he was trying his absolute darndest to give the game to Stoke. We got yellows for things that the Stoke players got away with. It was a bit sloppy, but it seemed the same wasn't given on the opposite side.

The Simpson pen is harsh (and we already know about the Vardy Red). I'd say it is the natural arm movement since he's going in for the slide.

We're going to miss Fuchs and Huth, but surely Vardy get cleared for that tackle.

I thought maybe a yellow at worst.

he was shocking in the United vs Palace match midweek. has no confidence

I'm sorry, but that Vardy tackle was terrible. He jumps off the ground and goes in with two feet. Red card all day, every day.

You mean the one where he was shoved square in the back?

What a pathetic penalty decision against us. Absolutely no holding, and Antonio goes down at the slightest contact.

I seen the highlights. Looked like Antonio lost his balance. I thought the ref was in a poor position to call it with the defender being between him & Antonio. It seems as though he assumed a foul occurred because Antonio went down.

He gets nudged in the side and either way that doesn't equate to a two footed lunge.
While running full tilt? Looks weird and certainly not a red.
