Have a few Carlton supporters close to me so I keep an eye on them. Watching now and thinking to myself "Imagine having Cripps, Walsh, Curnow, Weitering, Saad etc" on your list and feeling envious.

I don't believe in umpiring conspiracies but christ it looks like they're trying to get Carlton home. Full credit to Sydney for cracking on anyway when they could have easily sooked and packed it in.
It feels like this Carlton rise in 2022 is the most fragile thing in football right now. Fully expect them to be bundled out of finals in an embarrassing manner should they make it.
