The Saints are in a pretty bleak spot hey. Steele is a gun, and King and Gresham are rad young players, but no idea where any real improvement is going to come from. What's the point of Wood, Crouch, Hill etc?
We'll play the saints back into form im sure.
Just realised that in addition to there beings coaches J Longmire and J Longmuir in the AFL, we have B Ratten and B Rutten both coaching at the same time. Looking forward to North Melbourne's new coach: A Simson

They topped up before they built a list through the draft. They will have to rebuild again before a shot at a flag.
The sad thing is they missed finals for 8 seasons. It's astounding that they couldn't build the depth of the other shit clubs (like Blues and Dees)
Saints tried to moneyball it and it hasnt worked.

Allow Liberatore effectively no match-up around stoppages and give Bontempelli the freedom to get into space unopposed.

One also may need to get the message out to the St Kilda forward line in particularly that the winter Olympics were held in February, such is the completeness of their downhill skiing.
Poorly coached and mentally weaker than any other team in the competition.
Saints have a lot of talent, but seem to be lacking anything in the way of leadership at the moment.

Nah, Ratten's a brilliant coach and shafting him is the only reason the Blues didn't win a whole bunch of flags. According to every Carlton supporter I've ever met anyway.
Saints going all in on players from other clubs to try and get them finals glory only to be a game ahead of the Suns in the middle of the ladder is pretty funny ngl

This saints team beat Geelong and also beat Freo on a dry deck in Perth. They should be fighting it out for top 4 right now, instead their season is done.
Especially considering the Suns have a much brighter future.
