Optus Stadium hasn't really worked as a fortress for both Eagles and Freo. Isn't as big a home ground advantage anymore

I miss Subiaco Oval. It was suited to us. And was different. Remember the good old days where we win every game at Subi and opposition just couldn't work the dimensions of the ground out. By the time they did it was too late as we'd be 30-40 in front. I haven't been impressed with Optus.

It's just a sign of the times. At Subi the ground was quality and the spectators made do.

Optus is Amazeballs for spectators and the players have to suck it up on the grass.
