Thompson, Peckett, Harvey will go. I love those guys :(

Don't know why Gehrig has been touted as a possible retirement, he's only 29. Campo will go on, he's only 29 as well and he adds a bit of experience to the lineup.

Matthew Clarke is definitely gone, there's no need for him in Adelaide with Biglands and Hudson in the ruck.

as if thompson would go...

Hart has stated in various press thingies that he wants to continue for another couple of seasons.

obviusly this is providing the hammies hold up but you can write him down for 2006 at the least. The way the backline is operating there is no way the club can afford to just let him go anyway.

If Wayne Campbell plays on next year (just to get to 300 games) it would be a very selfish decision IMO>

He wants to retire but Wallace wants him to play on because he needs the experienced players in the side. If he plays on it is not to get to 300.

For North:

McKernan will retire this year (definitely)

Rocca (only if seriously injured) he will have a pre-season and if he can't get through that to an adquate level will retire, he knows the deal.

Colbert & Archer (play on unless seriously injured before end of year)

Those are the only old timers left, Simpson is 29 will play on for a few more years, doesn't rely on speed... or disposal accuracy. :p

Campbell will make a decision within the next week. Gut feeling he will retire.
Stafford should retired, too many injuries.
Graham won’t retire. Think he'll play on next year.

Stafford was semi-retired when he left the swans

Actually shows how little Carlton are thought of that Kouta isnt pushed much by anyone anywhere.

Fact Kouta has had more game time than any other player in the AFL this year! It shows that the coaching staff must think that 1) he can still play, 2) that he is able to continue playing without the need to sit on he bench like others.

I do realise that the blues are bottom and there is not a lot of talent playing well enough at the moment to fulfill his role, but that stat shows me that he should & will play on next year.

Depending on how he fairs next year it may not be his last either as the blues have a young list he can fill the veterans spot next year quite easily
