I mean realistically, the next long term captain from the club is going to come from either the 2023, 2024 or 2025 draft crop you'd think. That's the position of our list, in the short term we'll probably get a few years out of the Vlastuin, Broad, Nankervis types, but the natural takeover in a few years comes from this rebuild.

I don't think it's that bizarre if people can see the more likely types that show some leadership and voice on the track.
No one's saying he's ready to be captain now.

Lynch probably goes around again (unless his body completely fails....again). But outside of those 2 we still have McIntosh (likely gone after 2025), Vlastuin, Broad, Nankervis, Short and Balta.
