Data from footywire. To check the draft order see the thread here.

Footywire says: "While we make every effort to keep up to date with player contracts, it is likely that our data may at times be out of date, incomplete or inaccurate. If you find any player contracts that need updating, please let us know using our brand new contract submission form."

As if you wouldn't. You get 2 gun mids, one ready to go to work in tandem. 18 is a speculation pick so you have to throw in 11
I'd expect Blair Hartley to get fired on the spot if he traded 6, 11 and 18 for a 4 pick upgrade. Would be one of the worst trades of all time.

We'd get 2 gun mids with 1 and 6 anyway. It's in Norths best interests to trade back as much as it is ours to trade up. If a deal gets done I'd say it'll be for 6 plus 20 or 23.

You need to be ready that top 10 picks are busts:

6 in 2011
4 in 2012
6 in 2013
5 in 2014
4 in 2015
5 in 2016
5 in 2017
2 in 2018
2 in 2019
6 in 2020

For every Sheezel there is a Will Phillips.

Posting you will get a gun mid at 6 is 100% pure wishful thinking.

Why would north do that? How many pick 2s have turned out to be the best player in the draft, 6 you should get a good player but 18 is a gamble
Because they apparently want Tauru who will still be there at 6 and they get another 1st round pick for the sake of sliding back a few spots?

If they're going to take Tauru, they'd be mad not to do that deal, or something similar.

Posting it about any kid is wishful thinking. You hope any kid you take in the top 10 of any draft is a gun. Will Phillips was seen as a shit pick by most people at the time too.

This year is not like most years, everyone keeps saying how even the top 6 or so are. Pick 2 could be any one of 4 or 5 kids, depending on which club you ask.

6, 11 and 18 is the deal. Allows the tigers to get Lalor and the piss off Carlton to get osullivan.
North then get smith, Tauru and shanahan.
Works for both clubs

Depends how into Tauru North really is, and to a degree how much Richmond rates him too.

Assuming North really want him...

Richmond's offer for 2 would be 6+(late 1st) and a promise not to bid on Tauru, with some wiggle room to negotiate on which late 1st and maybe including later/future picks.

Richmond's threat would be that they'd take Tauru at 6, so if North trades for a lower pick than that, they wont get him.

Of course, both the promise and threat would be unofficial, and if North thinks Richmond doesn't really want Tauru at 6...well, North just has to call their bluff, trade with someone else and see.

Given that North are unlikely to get an offer including a pick better than 6, this would leave North with the choice of trading with Richmond (giving them a high likelihood of getting Tauru at 6 + a 'bonus' late 1st round pick), or just taking Tauru at 2 (which also works for Richmond too given it'd push someone who would have been considered a 'top 5' pick back to 6).

I think 2,F2 for 6,11,F3 is fair.
Or trade 11,23 for 15,16 to gws,then
Trade 6,16 for 2.
Overall Richmond turns
6,11,23 into 2,15.
Or Just #6 + #18 for pick #2 is plenty
If not then all good everybody takes their picks to the draft

Richmond have enough picks to get a various mix of players
DOS is not Dusty , Judd or Ablett FFS

Move on and north can find another club to trade with. Simple

Currently Richmond has so far not shown any interest in pick #2
very good chance Richmond make a take or leave offer and be done with it.
