If Hampson can play 22 games that would be massive for us.
It would allow Nank to play at CHF.

I don't think people understand the impact Nankervis had for us around stoppages. Maric made a similar impact when he arrived on the scene but no where near as good. Nankervis is an average tap ruckmen, in fact if his worth was being measured on his tap work alone he wouldn't even make the VFL team. What he does do is tackle, shepherd, block, win the ball and feed it out. He really is like another midfielder when the ball hits the ground.

Conversely Hampson is a great tap ruckman, if a little predictable but he's next to useless at ground level. I don't think its any coincidence that we lost most midfield battles last year and finished outside the eight with Hampson as our number one ruckman.

I hope to hell we don't see Hampson play any more than a handful of games to rest Nank because if we do I genuinely believe that we will slip out of contention very quickly.

Im happy never to see Hampson in the senior team again then delisted at the end of the year

We have drafted CJ who will be a very good player that can play foward and Ruck (relief in his 1st year) But happy to go with CJ than Hampson who offers nothing but taps.

But what i am looking foward to seeing in Nank playing in the foward line when not ruck

No, just a Russian dude with a 'tache like Markov's. Was a good player in his day, but thinking about it, would never make it in a Hardwick team as he was 6 foot 8.
He could be backup ruck with a 'tache like that.

Not sure how he'd enjoy lowering himself to the VFL though. Not his style.

Oleg looks like a first year player again while short looks like he doesnt want to be there #NoSmile :p
