Hi all, have a few q's on some of your boys... Already have dusty as a lock. Pretty self explanatory with the extra midfield time. But thoughts on; 1) Eliis, does he go the heppell step to premo, as i see similar type games. 2) Concas vid with the mike suggested an increase in maturity, he actually seemed to be marshaling the boys. Will it correlate to higher scores (not that im picking, just a query) and 3) thoughts on knights as a pick, had a good sc year at adelaide and this form is the reason you picked him up, but is this the rebound year or has he been overtaken by llyod, gordon, edwards etc...
Edit: oh and after NAB form, thoughts on lamberts position.
Our front six needs Knights' proven ability. IMO he just needs to get a bit of match fitness before walking in to a regular start.Hi all, have a few q's on some of your boys... 1. You would like to think ellis could take his game to that next level. But at the moment, he is a quite unknown quantity in terms of if he gets tagged this year. whether he would be able to handle it. If he doesn't get tagged this year or shows early on that he can handle it. Then i believe he could take his game to that next level.
2. This year, i'd expect Conca to increase scoring but only slightly. Seems to have improved his fitness base quite a bit this pre season. So would be expecting him to average 5-10 more points each round.
3. Would expect knights to play. But in saying that, would be a very risky pick with him being more likely to get injured then to stay uninjured. Also scoring wise, may struggle having had 1 year and half out of the game.
4. Currently we have one position left to upgrade a rookie. There are currently three players competing for that spot in Matt Arnot, Matt Thomas and Kane Lambert. We would like to think Arnot and Lambert are favourites for that spot. But it wouldn't surprise any of us, if it was Thomas that gets upgraded. If Lambert does get upgraded before round 1. He would be a very good chance of playing. But at the moment, might have to what until mid season to get his opportunity.

If he's stays fit he'll be a big part of any success that comes our way.
A bargain buy for dream teams.
Hey guys. Both are neither here or there. Will both probably only rise around 100-150k so you then have a player averaging 70-80 and will still need upgrading. I would rather put some less coin into rookies that have higher ceiling over shorter time period.
Anyway Maric, Cotch & Lids are locked in and watching to see how Ellis goes in pre season as I think he is on the verge of being a 110+ player.
Would expect to play 22 games and score well. Missed the first half of 2014 and still avg of about 100.Hey guys.
I'm looking for a value ruckman, Maric has had foot injuries recently? *I think* Firstly, did he play the last bit of last year, how did he go, and why would he be a good pickup this year at his price?
Thankyou for your time.
What was his problem? Obviously not too bad if he came back and did what he did!Would expect to play 22 games and score well. Missed the first half of 2014 and still avg of about 100.
Had Ankle surgery last FebruaryWhat was his problem? Obviously not too bad if he came back and did what he did!
doES It seem he has recovered well?Had Ankle surgery last February
Nah, likely to recur. Look elsewhere.......doES It seem he has recovered well?
I'll stop bugging you soon@!
Appreciate your time and effort I have to add.!
NeitherLoyalties aside, Cotchin or Fyfe? I'm leaning towards Fyfe.
Thanks DrMike , anyone you like in that price range? I have Ablett, Pendles, Steven, Swallow, Deledio and Cotch at the moment.Neither
Fyfe has injuries and will start the season slow, pick him up later once he's dropped
Cotchin should be sharing the load too much to score really high
Forgot about him. .... was also thinking about Sloane as he never scored under 100 last year.Griffen should go up a fair bit
He's had a full preseason compared to having last minute surgery on his ankle last year. Would expect he's 100%Hi guys,
Can you give me some feedback on Ivan Maric and his chronic groin soreness - here is an excerpt from an article back in 2013 http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-07-0...-a-maric-curse
RICHMOND ruckman Ivan Maric will have to manage groin soreness for the rest of his career
"The big thing for him is just getting his body right. It's going to be an ongoing issue throughout the remainder of his career," Hardwick said.
Is it likely he will be rested at times or is he expected to fade as the season goes on as it seems to be something that builds up as the season progresses?
He's 100% now, that's all you can say. Reality is most ruckmen get a rest at some point during the seasonHi guys,
