So which ones are they?
  • Should you be able to chop blokes arms?
  • Should you be able to use your hands to push an opponent under the ball?
  • Should we encorouge rushed behinds?
  • Should you be able to bump blokes in the head or is that actually "too high"?
  • Should a 10m kick be a mark?
All we hear about is how footy is ruined by knee jerk rule changes but which ones have they actually got wrong?

I would argue that they got it wrong when they increased the interchange in the first place and I hate pinging ball players who are stuck on the bottom of packs with pretty much no hope of getting the ball out (with 10 opposition players putting it back in there every time he gets close).

So which rules are actually wrong?

So which ones are they?
  • Should you be able to chop blokes arms? No. Good rule
  • Should you be able to use your hands to push an opponent under the ball? Not push, but able to hold your position
  • Should we encorouge rushed behinds? Discourage
  • Should you be able to bump blokes in the head or is that actually "too high"? Free kick, but suspension only if malicious
  • Should a 10m kick be a mark? Yes
So which rules are actually wrong?
