Their importance to the lineup is critical, however they are fresh in the team and still have to prove their worth. And on current form, we are wasting potential on a young kid who might be able to IMPROVE our on ground running side. I would love to see 3-4 kids blooded this year, but that'll be impossible when we take such a conservative approach. And one time we get injuries we are ****ed!
Those three are possibilites to drop for a youngster to get a game. The other possibities would be the young kids (McVeigh basically) and Mathews, Chambers, LRT (in that order).
What can't just accept our side cannot improve. There is always a weak like or 4.
Okay. Nick Riewoldt, a person like Nick, whatever. You are letting your emotions get ahead of clear judgement.
I was at the game in 1994 (I think) where Tony "Plugga" Lockett lifted his elbow, lifted off the ground and attempt to destroy Peter Cavens face. Happened right in front of me. However, when he came up in time for the trade and he wanted to go to Sydney, I thought I hate that guy (I was 10 or 11), but thought that he would add a bit to our side (as you should know we were stuggling, even if you were 4.
As it turns out he ADDED GREATLY to the TEAM to help take us to our first grand final since 1945.
You might not like them, but as a football supporter you need to learn to apreciate the skills of the great players of the game, regardless of what team you support. If a bloke from the opposition take a "speccie" (flashy mark) I will clap them, regardless if I am going for my team at the time.
What makes our game great is the amount of spectacular moments the stars of the game give us, and the elite of the national playing this sport. You have to approve brilliance.
He is a brilliant player at his best (Hall wasn't as consistant) and when he plays his worst if team mates struggle. If that is the case then I reckon he'd be a hell of a bloke to build a team around....
i think that because this topic is already so far offtopic, it was originally about riewoldt, then it turned into riewoldt going to sydney thread (as almost every thread with a decent player in it does...) then it turned into Nat is a ****** thread so I thought I would just top it off with...
cheers Nat, shut up please, so support the swans in silence, and if u have a membership, goto the freakin matches and let us be.
