When Riewoldt decides to step it up no one can go with him, that third quarter is just a taste of what the Pies can expect next week.

Wut? Even for a deluded flog like yourself Hodgepodge that is ridiculous.
St Kilda started dominating the game in the third quarter mainly because of Riewoldt. The game was still up for grabs then.
His third quarter was nothing short of sensational, he even got knocked out but just got straight back up and kicked another goal.
Buddy can only dream of playing a quarter of football like that.
Once Kosi said sorry to him and Roo realised it was his own team mate who did it, he got straight up and didn't look concussed at all.

Franklin 2 goals, 2 goal assists in the GF was seen as poor.
Riewoldt's 3 goals, 1 goal assist last night is written up as 'sensational'

That's because Riewoldt stood up and delivered when the game was on the line in the third quarter while Buddy only got involved in last quarter junk time in the GF after the Dewosaurus won it for you in the third quarter.
Riewoldt is so far in front of Buddy that he can barely see him.

Sorry, but I already corrected you on that one.
His first goal assist was when we were behind. The second was in the 3rd quarter when we were slightly ahead.

And this was considered a poor game from Franklin.
Again, showing that the standard is much higher for Franklin's performances. i.e. he's a much better player.

Buddy did more than his share in the GF, and FWIW he also brought the ball down to ground for Cyril's magnificent front and square, which is really a third assist.Riewoldt gets extra kudos because he takes big marks, and runs up and down the wing to take big marks he didn't need to take. Apparently that makes 4 goals a BOG effort.
And Aints fans, Buddy's 5 against the Scum, dragging the Hawks over the line, was one of the best individual performances all season. The only player with a better game was probably Le Cras. But then, his season wasn't on the line.
