I remember years ago there would be replays all day of events you missed overnight.

They dont even do that anymore I guess that means less people are interested now if they are just gonna go with the standard schedule over replays and bring in popular sports like golf soccer etc

Maybe they should make the gap 8 years lol

Opals have just spent the last couple of matches psyching out their future opponents by seeing how far they can let a team get in front before winning.

But this Olympics is not so much as overnight as some of the past. Most people that are not up late, that in bed now, would wake up and see most of the events in afternoon and night sessions over there from Rio live. So a lot of live coverage people can see. I think there is a replay show on by Kylie Gillies at some time in our afternoon but I would have been watching the footy then and most people probably caught the rest of what went on when they asleep in their Sunrise program. Also I think when I watched St.Kilda and Saints game 7 network had some replay on one of these channels for those interested in seeing a full replay of a womens soccer match. So in fairness I think they do have replay shows but people less reliant on catching up as much as plenty happens live when they wake up.

For example if they want to watch the 10,000 mens finals it is on in morning our time about 11 am. Many other Olympics not as many people would see it live.

I am surprised there isn't more sailing on considering how many of them we are a good medal chance in.
We have one in the lead one in second one in third and another fifth.

Del Potro outlasting Nadal in a pretty gripping affair.
Glaetzer looked good in the sprint, but GB's Kenny looks just about untouchable. Fingers crossed.
Meares through in the keirin was good.
For those who hadn't seen, this is gold:

You dont?
No I absolutely do. I just meant that the general consensus seems to be he's great calling athletics. Maybe his ordinary AFL calling these days is more to do with the producers than him, like with Ch 9.
