I don't think Greg has even written one - he has some nerve but not that much.
The main thing I have taken from reading Dr Bob Rotella's books for example which relate specifically to golf is, and this is when he is talking about putting but applies to everything, that players need to completely contradict themselves. Whilst they know that the 3 foot putt they are facing could be the difference between winning the US Masters or not, it could very well be the most important putt they will ever hit, if that is what they are thinking about then they are doomed.
Instead they need to convince themselves mentally that it barely matters, that it is just a 3 foot putt which they make 99 times out of a hundred and this is no different, just step up and hit it like you would if it were in your back garden without a care in the world. Because if you can remove the enormity of the context, completely ignore the enormity of the context, then you will perform better.
Listenning to Australian athletes apologise all week for their failures, listening to Kitty Chiller constantly express disappointment and highlight failure does nothing for any of the athletes. All it does is add pressure and preempt further failure. And to think that this started on about day 3 of the swimming it is any wonder that Australian athletes won anything.
How many Golf Champions has Dr Bob coached?
