Very saddened to hear about Blair's death. Surprised there have been no obituaries (or I haven't seen them or found them) given he was one of those rare individuals who played VFL and first-class cricket. He was also a very under-rated journalist covering cricket in both Tasmania and Victoria. Blair was also a great character who marched to a different beat. Invented the banana kick and those who have listened to the podcast (thanks BruceTempany14) would know that he won his first ever VFL game (for us) when he kicked a goal after the siren to beat South Melbourne at the Lake Oval. Not sure what he's been up to since 2005 but appears to have lived in Gippsland.
RIP.
