Rice was/is a good ball winner and good clubman at Tuggeranong, well respected. Will be good pick up if he can play most of season.

If anyone is moving to ACT, Murrumbidgee Juggernauts are looking for coaches and players for 2011. Any referrals appreciated.

Back page of the Narrandera Argus reported Narrandera has signed 193cm foward/ruckmen Phil Aumann from Violet Town ading to the signing of Jim Rice from the ACTFL and Pat Hoseborough from the GVFL. Narrandera could be a mover in 2011 time will tell

Plenty of March premiers, and time does tell. Would like to see other signings as it seems that a lot of recruited players are fromn outside the area, or juniors returning. We may see a return to the late 90's!!! Time for the media to get on board.

Im not sure if the Wagga Tigers are in this League but is someone able to give me an email contact for the Club please??

Not unlike my experiences with Canberra AFL sites..the Wagga sites are pretty hopeless (must be $$$ out tyhere for someone to tidy up/maintain sports clubs web sites?)...
Anyway email Dave Commerford at the address below and he should be able to give you the best email addresses to suit your needs:

Hey waggamick, check this site out for the League http://www.seeyouatthefooty.com.au/index.php

and try www.murrumbidgeefc.com for my Club

Let me know if you need others
cheers

Thanks Boof,
The Murrumbidge site is quite good...Ladder only goes to Round 10 and could probably do with a Home Ground address and Google Maps link...would be important to prospective players and fans.
Being fat and 58 and moving to Gunghalin sort of rules me out of both categories...I like to wander up to the local game at the last minute.:)
I find the seeyouatthefooty site hard to intuitively navigate..I'll keep tyring.

GWS plays Belconnen at Robertson Oval on 13th August in the NEAFL.
There is a NAB Cup game at Albury in the near future but not sure who they play.

good to see the draw finally confirmed in the paper today. cant wait to head out to mango for the first time in a while and see two great old foes at it again. those clashes in the 80's were legendary!!!

Let start getting some ins and out going very boring other wise. talk up or down some recruits or this will be known as the worst thread on BigFooty
how do you think Power will go in his first year coaching? i have heard he and the rest of the team have been traing the house down!
