not sure why he has left.. but he certainly didnt leave on good terms and rumor has it he's makin a return to the jets.. if so would be a handy pickup

Heard in the grapevine the Eagles have picked up a few recruits from the middle of NT,be a bit of an eyeopener if it's true when they take there first look at the 'mini' MCG of NSW!!!

That'll be good for them til the cold weather hits. :D:D

From previous experiences clubs have had the success rate isnt the best, but good luck to them all the same.

Are these recruits make or break for the eagles in terms of their 'division 1' survival? Or is Griffith's low key off season a worrying sign.

HitnMiss throw out some names or hints of these so called 10 players leaving Coolamon. I think you're getting a bit carried away especially with a new coach coming on board.

Wouldn't mind a playoff (similar to the english football championship playoff series below the premier league) where the bottom placed RFL side plays against the top FFL side for a right to stay to survive/gain entry in RFL.

Is this dragging on the season too long?

Not to mention when they come to the realisation that footy boots hurt when treading on there bare feet! :D

I like this idea but would hit a few hurdles, when would u play this game in the fixture? If i played in the Farrer grand final i wouldnt want to be playing again the following week against the bottom rfl clubs id be still in grand fnal celebration mode lol :thumbsu:

What about the recruits you mentioned from the GV and actafl CP, what happened to them?? Will believe it when I see it

Even though these words shouldnt be muttered this time of year, when are all the clubs looking at starting pre season? Scarey thought but its not that far away. Also just another random question, who's coaching the 2nd grade teams at your club, i see in the paper 2day Ray Colvin is coaching tigers 2's. And if anyone is going to write 'argh who f**kin cares about ressies', go and root a dead wombat, ressies is as important to a footy club as the other 2 grades. :D:D

Where can i find a cute wombat

Ok hang on hang on. Let me rephrase that, we cant have innocent wombats being violated just because of a stupid comment on a thriving forum such as big footy.

1st grade is obviously the most important grade but its like taking a rung out of a step ladder, you'll never get on the roof if ya missing a step.

I think the departure of sam keenan will make for a good fresh start for coolamon.scott easdown comes with high credentials and ben fixter will add some more hardness to there midfield.Rumours are jason brown is considering retirement or maybe a return to the rock to finish of his career.Luke maloney will most likely retire with matt hard another one close to calling it quits. With the possibilty of losing some of there good on verge senior players to other clubs this will weaken there reserves and depth so recruiting a few more players will be important for them to keep in the mix!!sam chatfield is another player they will miss rumours are he will be moving for university!!they need to keep there reserves and depth strong to get anywhere and cover for some of there injury riddled players
