Swans started their rebuild after ours and they already look better than us for the future.

Unfortunately we don't get freebies from the AFL with all this academy guns they get on the cheap , AFL have screwed this competition.

Team is gassed, lost at the selection table which was inappropriate for the game style the coaching staff are attempting to execute, unfortunately.

Yep, to have all of Cas, TDK and Pitt in the one team has to be the worst decision of the year so far.

We're playing 18 talls and our last 2 forward entries have been on Betts head. We killed our selves with the selections this week.

This reminds me of the GC game where we had 4 tall forwards and kept kicking to Gibbons one out

We'd need a different coaching staff with another game-style/philosophy willing to pick the appropriate team, though. That's just not going to happen under Teague.

We have Walsh, Weiters and Harry.

No other elite players on our list.

Cripps is right there, so is Saad as a rebounder and Eddie as a small forward. Swans have less 'elite' players. None in their backline, a couple up forward and maybe one in the midfield. It's not the cream that we're missing, thats fairly obvious

The only thing I'm satisified with when it comes to Newman is that he has quick hands, and doesn't drop his head.

Everything else varies from amateurs level to below average, save for how far he can kick the football.
