Well here we are RND 15 and it’s the West Coast vs the Reigning Premier the Western Bulldogs.
This is quite intriguing as the Dogs have been quite hungover this season, as seen in this footage here, trying for some weeks to get out of the party mode and into premiership mode
Libba trying to reach Etihad after the success of 2016
West Coast Free Kicks on the other hand have been downright deplorable in Melbourne, with performance are akin to hiding in box of shame and waiting for next week’s game at home.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO WIN
We have to set up our Maul to allow the lads to tackle near the try line as the Dogs attempt to gain meterage towards our goal line. We must try and retain possession so we can form the ruck and not see exquisite “handballs” from the premiers such as this beauty filmed earlier this season. You can really see in the slow motion replay how exceptional they are hand-balling the footy at AFL level.
Bulldog gameplay
KICK MORE GOALS THAN THEM.
MATCH UPS
YEO v BONT
Yeo is in AA form, will be smashing the B&F and assorted ladies and has a genuine match up v Bont, who has hair that most women would die for. Crucial break away pace for both, these two will go a long way to setting up their sides win.
SHEED v MACRAE
Sheed has been a revelation in 2017, the only negative being his tank. And our very own supporters labelling him less than B Grade...wtf? He will be pitted up against Macrae, who has also had a very good 2017. They are both capable of inside grunt and opening up the play on the outside. Intriguing match up.
BARRASS/ERIC/SCHOEY v STRINGER/DICKSON/REDPATH
This is a concern as both Stringer & Dickskin are types that have the ability to turn a game on it's head and our defence at times has been quite leaky.
REST OF MIDFIELD BATTLE
They provide run and dash, working hard both ways whilst we provide corralling and half tackles and one way running, especially in Melbourne.
A WC fan watching the midfield battle in Melbourne
Whilst our mids have given it a red hot crack the past fortnight against very good midfield, the Bulldogs on a quick track that is Etihad is a whole different kettle of fish, especially in Victorian air. It could be quite ugly, ala the Essendon game. Or maybe the hawks game...perhaps Richmond? I hope for the Norf game myself. haha lolnorf.
2017 is the closest season I can recall for some time, if ever, with no team having an extended run at dominating. If we can drop Priddis (bahahaha, good one Biggie ol' chap) and add some extra legs by adding Partington to team, we aren't without a chance.
But we all know the outcome here.
Predicted changes:
IN: Wellingham
OUT: Hurn
Tip Melbourne + Cold Air + Schoey out for swinging at air + number of ruck scrums =
Dogs by 5 throws
THIS JUST IN: Exclusive footage found of Priddis v Melbourne on the HFF applying pressure
I'll get you N.Jetta, I'll get you!
EDIT: INS AND OUTS CHANGED
