But, for some strange reason, we show absolutely no composure to play tempo footy, yet allow North to rack up uncontested marks on the spread

Midfield not defending or manning up. Letting them get forward of the ball consistently. Structures aren't great. Big third qtr required.

I don’t care what anyone says, I think they got ahead of themselves after the 5 wins, other clubs have gone to work on us, and now we are short of confidence and form.

Midfield horrible. Defense horrible. Tall forwards horrible. Especially in working together. Nobody providing exit kicks.

Weitering is setting up to play back shoulder. The guys supposedly filling the hole aren't able or willing. The midfielders stream forwards but not back. The fumbling is diabolical. The F50 entries are bad and the Manning up and F50 defense is horrid.

All of this comes back to personnel and tactics. People in the right positions doing what they're good at vs forcing some shit style because it's what Hoyne said works. Dumb as bricks.

I know it's harsh on a bloke thats played nothing but VFL, but surely he doesn't offer any more than Kemp even with the extra height.

If you're playing cerra as a half back, play kmp there instead. Give cerra the time he should have had weeks ago in the vfl to find form. Tell me Kemp wouldn't be doing a shit load better at half back.

He needed VFL games like I said weeks before he came back.

For the last 20 years North have gone, put a physical hard shift in vs Carlton and they will soften. Would have been Clarkson's message. And here we are all those years on looking so soft and uncompetitive.

Comben/Carey and all their forwards getting too much of a look.

Our genius MC picked hundreds of midfielders for this, trying to place them into unfamiliar spots all over the park, can only hope we just run out the game better than them.

To think with what’s at stake their pressure ranking way higher than ours, pretty damning
