You can talk about the difference in sides all you want, i'm not saying the same sides are playing. Just simply saying, you guys haven't had a lot of success up at the Gabba, just like we haven't had a lot of success down in Melb. Seriously, does no one actually read what i'm posting.
And I've just proved to you that the sides meeting are considerably different.

Also, we've won two out of the last four up there with weaker sides - wouldn't exactly call that poor form.

Again, clutching at straws.

On Rusty. Remember early days last year when eddie betts was out of form and people were calling for his axing. Rattens persistence with Betts allowed Betts to find his confidence, which provoked some sizzling form in the second half of the season. Ratten has shown confidence in Russle's ability as should we all. Give him a few games to play back into form. What we're trying to achieve this early in the season is a spread of good form across 28 -34 players. ....

Agree. I think there's nothing wrong with carrying players for a bit if they're down on form/confidence, but a call has to be made at some point if they don't improve. Pretty sure Russell's aware of the situation. He had a real bad patch in the 3rd quarter last week. 4 passages of play in particular that hurt us - 2 in the middle and 2 up forward from memory. Just simple errors at crucial times. I don't understand what happened to the Jordon Russell of 2 years ago. He was awesome back then - super quick, breaking lines, full of confidence and excellent defensively. That's the JR we want to see.

:)

The club has shown they're willing to give players a chance to play themselves into form and that's a great thing. Bower looked stagnant for a couple of years and pulled out a magnificent performance last week so you just never know what will happen.

He'll get himself right. He's got the drive to push himself.

Bit of pre-game fun:
1. First goal scorer?
2. Who will kick the most goals?
3. Who will get the most disposals?
4. Top 3 BOG?
5. Winner and exact margin?

And I've just proved to you that the sides meeting are considerably different.

Umm.. Never said they weren't champ. Seriously, once again for those that don't read, the outs for us are positive, not negative. We are a lot better off with most of those players gone. Only ones worth their salt are the ones still on the list.

Not sure what your point is ? Weaker side, as in we were the better team a few years ago ? Only one clutching at straws is you buddy. My original point was 3 of the last 4 games have been close, never said anything about who won this games. Considering how much you rate your team and don't rate ours, 3 games within 10 points is an oddity compared to playing in Melb.

On the way to the game. Taking the gf to her first one. All clad in navy blue. Good girl!

Excitement building!

Go blues!
