Yikes, these black dog first halves have to be addressed, someone give Teague some angry pills per game. Worked our way into late, Cunners is one of the few to be happy about when streaming into goal.

Wasn't aware Dow was injured, and I'm not suggesting Stocker is ready, simply that he should be ready.

SPS is a more viable option to me compared to Newnes or Gibbons. O'Brien is a point of difference that is clearly an AFL footballer, especially in a team that has zero natural wingers aside from Simpson.

Philp is viable as a defensive forward today, especially in the context of what Betts and Gibbons are doing right now.

Gibbons has laid the most tackles for us which no-one else really seems keen to do, and just won a clearance to get us our first goal. Has hardly been terrible

There are currently so many things wrong with our game that singling out any aspect is perhaps a moot point, but gee, our set-shot kicking continues to be a killer.

If McKay kicks that relatively simple set shot early in the quarter, the complexion changes. Our forward entries are so haphazard that we just can't afford to blow scoring opportunities that meekly.

We continue to faff around more per goal than any other team, and make footy look so much harder than other sides - just so inefficient in all facets.
