I generally try to avoid venting mid-game, but this is season over. Struggling to see Voss retain his job. He deserves respect, but I fear the nuances of the modern game may be beyond him. Good sides win games they shouldn’t; we lose games we should win, in ways we shouldn’t lose. It’s a consistent trend.

There is a silver lining if we can find a proper A-grade coach - think of the Buckley/McRae bounce. Throw in some better list management - add some pressure, speed and foot skills and we may just salvage this 10 year project.

It’s still within us to win this game and I hope we do, but regardless of what happens from here, it’ll be an uphill battle to view this season as anything but a failure. Hope I am wrong, but if I am right, hope it is a lesson we learn from and take our medicine. Deeply frustrating.

Even though I am disillusioned, please stick by the players and coaches ‘til the end. Good clubs have supporters who stick through thick and thin. The club needs to sort this mess out, we can’t do it by turning on those wearing the jumper.
