Lucky to be only 22 down. It looks like certain players are trying too hard. Everyone just needs to KISS

We just need to resettle and get the game back on out terms at half time. First quarter was good, but we let ourselves down with poor conversion.

Second quarter we got beaten in the contest all over the ground, but also held up... mostly.

Unfortunately, mental errors from a bunch of players who are only there due to injury killed us.

I honestly wonder if we are better off sitting Dow, Marchbank and Fisher out. Sub in Curnow, and play two down but with players who can reliably hold up in the contest.
You didn't notice that Fisher was our best in Q1?

All our favourite scapegoats coming out for an airing today. Mostly justified. Dow and Pitto in particular.

It won’t end until changes are made in the phys ed department

We had the same injury issue with the last phys ed department.

List management and others continue to give list spots to the same injury prone players each year might have something to do with it.

Marchbank, mcgovern, Williams, Martin and Cuningham all playing a year of football is less likely than Jesus appearing at marvel stadium

cunners could give us more

martin ok but bit down also

doc /marchy making lots of mistakes. marchbank rushed back due to needs but he is very rusty

not sure what is wrong with doc

hewett also fell away. tried to takem the game on but his lack of pace meant he kept getting caught

fog is also a bit quite

The scoreboard flatters them it really does.

Just have to tidy up decision making in 2nd half.

With our outs and this being their GF I knew they would look the “winners” at some point, but our lads gutsed it out well in the latter half of that qtr.

The lack of a 3rd marking option up fwd really hurting us today
No it doesn’t. They are running hard, pressuring hard, and are clean with the ball. Conversely, we are a bumbling mess under pressure, out tackling is back to throwing an arm out, and we are back to bombing to a pack, despite them being a lot taller. We need to hit targets and give our smalls an opportunity.

We're hanging onto the ball too long.
Either trying to take every tackler on, or when beating the first tackle, either not being aware of the 2nd one or trying to take them on as well and turning it over.
Start using the 1st option. We've stopped playing as a team and playing as individuals.
