Was carried through by virtue of being one of few key position players on the list, and probably retained in his last couple of years because Curnow was injured.

He’s now on a base wage rookie contract at the Gold Coast and will inevitably be replaced as King comes back in.

It’s not surprising that our backline is struggling - losing Jones before the season meant we were thin before we lost another 2 players.

The midfield is the issue, they’re doing what they want. Kennedy has been very, very poor and Cerra barely sighted.

Let’s see how badly they want it and whether they’re prepared to fight back or just lay down
