I tell you what, there's a lot of people taking cheap shots at some of our players here. It's very poor. I'm sure that these players people like calling out have more courage and toughness in their little fingers than what the heroes taking the shots at them have ever displayed. Weak as piss honestly.

Gibbons had 5 touches last week yet SPS gets dropped.
At least SPS can play mid, back or forward.
Betts, Owies, Fogarty, Gibbons all small players that are one dimensional, let’s pray one of our midfielders don’t get injured early.

SPS has been gifted games since his debut

This is a dropping that could have happened any time in the last 20 games.

He will be OK, just needs to earn it and be treated like the way Dow, LOB and stocker have been treated....no more gifts

We have an attitude/culture problem in our team - we have no grit or ruthlessness.
Murphy was "managed" because he was playing conditionally as if he were still in preseason.
SPS was dropped not because he was bad, but because when the game was there to be won he stayed out of a number of contests against Brisbane and it couldn't be ignored.
Williams could not do the job and his efforts trailed off as the game wore on.

The guys we are bringing in this week are all guts and determination and free up Stocker who is also all guts and determination to play midfield.
Our supporters are screaming for effort. Why are people complaining? Because they aren't all stars? There is already enough talented players in this week's 22. Build the culture and use this opportunity to underline the effort required to start games at our club and then we'll see what happens when the real talent in TDK and Charlie and Newman and co. Come back in to a team with a hard edge.

The fact the match committee have ‘liked’ and ‘accepted’ the games of Newnes, Gibbons and Cottrell compared to SPS and Murphy is fascinating. But ok - Murphy is injured.....

Murph has his flaws we all know that. Still one of our better users of the ball especially going forward.

The impact of the others is pretty much like for like. Glad to have Luke back though - knows how to compete.
