If anyone had said we would win this game by 6 goals before the game, we would have taken it in a heartbeat. Some of the expectations on here are quite amusing.

I didn't say freo was shyte and that we should beat them by 100+ points but I am asking to see a 4 quarter display and not a melt down once the pressure goes on - what I asked for Phil was for them to maintain or even god forbid increase a good lead. If that makes me a half glass person I can wear that.

It is actually where we miss Hodge the most. He controls the tempo in that backline when the flow is against us. Still it's a good opportunity for our mids to try and protect the backline

I'd prefer to see our mids attacking our forward line...

Have a look at the ladder mate. There is a logjam in the top 8 which pretty much means the competition is pretty even. The chance of us dominating a game for 4 quarters (or any other team) is less likely than ever before. If we were playing GWS or GC then you have a point but the competition is so even right now, it is impossible to control a game for 120 minutes.

I agree we need to work on how we stem the flow when opposition teams get a run on and I reckon Hodge is the missing ingredient there. We aren't far off.
