Graham is a huge concern, there is just no role for him anymore, Dow was actually recruited for his fast hands and speed but unfortunately he just isn’t making it. I think it’s time we unleashed our wingers as well. Let them hunt the footy instead of playing sacrificial roles all the time. The same cattle are simply not there anymore to play the same game style and the ones that are still there are nearing the end.

Not to mention, when you play the same old role players in the same old roles and positions, the opposition have already worked you out.
We've gotta find another way, instead of asking who are our X-amount of small pressure forwards? Who are our X-amount of link up men? Who are our X-amount of this and that?

Surely we play Bauer after what we saw both yesterday and today? Our tall forwards in Miller, Ryan, and Riewoldt combined for a score of 0.0 yesterday. That’s unacceptable.

Even if it’ll take some time for Bauer to adjust to AFL, we have to start rewarding good performances like today. Bauer was probably BOG with 3 goals, 21 disposals, and 11 marks against a top 2 VFL side interstate. He had the most goals and equal-most disposals from our players on the ground. Meanwhile, our KPFs couldn’t have been worse on the scoreboard. We have to play him IMO.

Clarke goal in the last quarter only came about because Hugo couldn’t hit a simple 20m kick under no pressure that sailed over jacks head by about 5m.

Rule changes have made it so there are fewer game plan options now and they all rely more heavily on talent rather than being able to build something based on effort or novel gameplan. Actually makes it rather boring as teams are gunna have to spend time near the bottom and get lucky with the draft, development rather than being a genuine chance each year to win a few games and get lucky. Teams like North, WCE and Hawthorn are seriously no chance for the next few seasons. And we look like we are destined for the same. Shits me that in the meantime our supporters are propping up the leech clubs, one of which is Brisbane.
