I do my family thing on Xmas Eve as per European tradition, we always have. Today kids go to their in laws side and whatever else they have, go to the beach etc, open their own presents under the tree etc. So today and tomorrow I’m free to chill and stuff myself with leftovers from last night.
We have a very big family, the days of running around after 40 people are done for me Sometimes Xmas day friends, neighbours or family stragglers pop in but that’s it.

We had a lovely Xmas Eve tho, opened all the pressies under my tree and the kids bought a game which we played. Was fun.

I learnt this last night! Lugano was beautiful but nothing opened. Had a great feed at the hotel though and Ding loves a good tiramisu.

Yep Xmas Eve is the real Xmas, all kids want to do on Xmas Day is play with their new toys and the parents want to put their feet up. Xmas Eve is just so much nicer with all the lights and drinks around the pool and a feast then opening presents. I’ve never known anything different.
