Roos call for calm after loss

I didn't say a player can't be dropped if it is warranted.

I said JZ would be undroppable based on the circumstance we find our selves in and on last years credits.

IMO he would be very stiff to miss unlike plenty of others, which is why I think Brown's claim was stupid.
What was the worst part in probably only game i get to see for the year that nobody and i mean nobody went anywhere near Heppell he got so many easy possesions it was like he had body odour. Also Drew is not a ruckman in 3rd quarter went for bounce about centre half back won it but hit it straight towards Essedons goal. They kicked a goal from it.

My biggest concern from Friday is that all of the shamefully bad statistical differentials were well on their way to record levels at half time - those woeful numbers didn't just manifest after the break. At half time I chatted with the father & son behind me, showing them we were 80-odd disposals down & had only 20-odd marks to 80+.

At that point we'd been given the mercy of half time to regroup, assess the damage & address it. Change the structure. Makes some positional moves. Bloody well improve our attitude. Come out breathing fire after a confronting half time spray.....

NOTHING! Not a single ******* thing changed.

Drew saying he's seen Brad far more savage than he was Friday night just about sums it up for me.
Yep. Once again "constructive & educational" does the trick.

The great Vince Lombardi had a quote that it seems the club and players could take a look at:

“Winning is not a sometime thing…it’s an all the time thing. You don’t win once in a while…you don’t do the right thing once in a while…you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit.”

"I understand the supporters get upset and we do too. We'll be going through the loss forensically any making sure everyone learns from it and knows what they need to work on to improve. But emotion only gives a temporary lift, we're about constantly reinforcing elite standard to our players so they understand how to execute consistently at a high level."

I'm tired of hearing the same old shiet week in week out from a loss. Anytime someone doesnt go hard enough at the footy they should be forced into some kind of punishment whether its having wrenches chucked at them or forced to sit in the ice tub for 6 hours

Just like the footage of Brad pulling all the boys in close at 3 quarter time giving them a final rev up. Then they go out and....nothing, not even a whimper.

Calm? They should all be locked in cages, starved, teased, sprayed with a fire hose. Let them loose at the Doggies on Sunday.

Vince didn't understand heavy training loads.
