Simpson, Grant, Boomer, Rawlings, Sinclair, and Brown all started on the bench. We've had the better of the play, but we're not converting - 0.3.3 to 0.1.1. Picioane is in everything, but his decision making is rubbish. Forward line is a mess.

Last SMS I got from Carlos said that the Saints had lifted and banged 3 quick goals. They're all over us in the guts and in the forward line. Harris is off.

3/4 time: North 3.7.25 to St.Kilda 6.9.45. We've tried to hold our ground, but we're getting outclassed.

On channel 10, footage of McKernan injury. He was going for a mark and a Saints player came over the top of him - purely accidental, but McKernan hasn't returned to the ground.

Wouldn't know mate. I don't have a pub next door and the closest corporate types are a 40 minute drive away. It's all blue singlets, beerguts and tattoos around where I work.

Whilst I don't think McKernan should be in the senior side, making a sly joke about his injury is a bit of a low shot.

Good effort in the end, but we lack polish. It could have been ugly if the Saints had Reiwoldt, Gehrig, Hamill, Ball, and co.
