Personally I think HH and Cameron are much quicker off the mark so are better at creating a target inside 50.

Not saying I don’t want Lobb, I absolutely do, but Freo need 1-2 players with pace to create separation and create goals in transition. Lobb is not the final piece in the puzzle.

Personally I think HH and Cameron are much quicker off the mark so are better at creating a target inside 50.

I would of picked HH behind Lobb at fwd until about halfway through the year when he learned how to kick and was quite strong for us.

Problem is we havent seen Lobb go on from his 2017 form due to necessity as he hasnt been up front and instead been played as our ruck.

Think if you stick him up the front you wont be disappointed.

Not as fast but def strong,has good hands and can kick.

As long as he has his 3/4 sleaves. Take them away and it's his kryptonite.

Additional benifits of getting Lobb

• Less likely to be desperate and overpay for Hogan
• Gives us 3 GWS blokes to incentivise Coniglio

Conniglio is for next year thats why we need this and 2019 first from brisbane

Yeah I reckon that's the tradeoff. Without knowing who is out of contract, I'd suggest we'd probably look to move on one or two talls in some fashion

Even setting aside Sandi for a second -

Jones / Meek / Nads / Ape / Darcy / Lobb is 6 rucks/ruckforwards - I think we only need 4 on our list

2 pure rucks, 2 ruck forwards - where one of the ruck forwards rolls into a backup ruck position for the pure rucks. That's not consider Tabs can perform a ruck forward role as well (I have him as a forward first)

I'd rather free up spots for developing our midfield

However of the guys listed above I would be shedding Sandi(convince him to retire ), Meek and Apeness ( injury Prone )

Should be around 15 but given the salary cap issues maybe a little lower.

Hogan is low first + high first/early second or two mid firsts.
